In Word Drop, you form English words by picking letters. Each second, a new letter descends from above. If you are slow, the game ends when a column is full.
Each word awards you points depending on the letters used, the length of the word, and your current level. Your aim is to achieve the greatest possible score!
There are four difficulty levels, ranging from beginner to extreme:
Beginner: A new letter is dropped into the next column every 3 seconds.
Intermediate: Every 2 seconds, a new letter is dropped into the next column.
Expert: A new letter is dropped into a random column every 3 seconds.
Extreme: A new letter is dropped into a random column every 2 seconds.
You will proceed to the next level after you have produced 16 words in a level.
Word Drop includes 6 levels, each with its own set of restrictions that make the game tougher:
Level 1: Any tiles with 3 to 10 letters (words between 3 and 10 letters long, you can use any tile on the board to create words)
Level 2: Any tiles with 4 to 10 letters (words between 4 and 10 letters long, you can use any tile on the board you want)
Level 3: The same row/column with 3-10 letters (words between 3 and 10 letters long, you can only use tiles in the same row or in the same column)
Level 4: Adjacent tiles with 3 to 10 letters (words between 3 and 10 letters long, you can only use adjacent tiles)
Level 5: The same row/column with 4-10 letters (words between 4 and 10 letters long, you can only use tiles in the same row or in the same column)
Level 6: Adjacent tiles with 4 to 10 letters (words between 4 and 10 letters long, you can only use adjacent tiles)
You've finished the game when you reach level 6!
